Midnight Organ Fight by Frightened Rabbit
on the face of it i undergo as though i should probably hate midnight organ fight by selkirk scotland’s frightened rabbit. i mean, it kind of wreaks of a holier-than-thou-uber-indieness i.e. completely irrational album title, and they have an savage in their band name… for those of you following along at home animals (particularly bears and wolves) are the new ‘the’ bands. that said, i’ve been listening to midnight part mettle more than anything else in the last two weeks.there’s doubtlessly a yoke of reasons for that: 1/ i feel akin to i’ve been a little bit of downslide lately, haven’t been looking as much, and therefore finding much new things to listen to; 2/ i listen to the long ago soundtrack pretty frequently and deliver developed a growing affinity for the british prominence; 3/ there are some in point of fact blunt-catchy-punchy lyrics through out the album - “jesus is just a spanish boy’s name”, “my trouser’s have all the hallmarks to liaison your floor”, “it takes more than f–kin’ someone you don’t recognize to keep warm”… and so on.i mentioned the other day that a couple of guys are picking this as an early apple of someone’s eye in regard to album of the year, and while i don’t think its that good, its assuredly usefulness your time.thanks to allan for turning me on to them… see his post here accomplish with mp3s.

american media’s favorite hate group, cair, directors on american islamic relations is at it again. this insurgent supporting group went after senator mccain when he rejected john hagee, endorsement with a press release telling the senator to renounce self-willed parsley of ohio also (which he has). cair’s congressional tie was quoted as saying, “millions of american muslims may feel unsafe conspiratorial that a candidate allowing for regarding the highest intercession in the country would squeeze a the human race who demonizes them as “spiritually evil” and believes our country was founded, in part, to undermine their faith.unbelievably strong words for the treatment of an organization that done whatever it can to block anti-arsonist activities, blunted free homily with phony law suits, confirmed money and soap-boxes to terrorists and has sponsored anti-semitic speakers:cair’s “reject and renounce” hypocrisy by iptipt news
